18 European Innovation Week TAITRA organized the TW-EU Business and Clusters Forum and Matchmaking Event, jointly with the Chinese National Federation of Industries. The event successfully connected 40 Taiwanese companies with 20 industry clusters and enterprises from 12 EU countries. Taiwan Trade Mission to Central and Eastern Europe The trade mission to Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland, and Romania featured 19 Taiwanese companies specializing in CNC lathes, LED, electrical and electronic machinery, hardware fasteners, functional textile fabrics, and consumer goods. Notable buyers, such as Poland's Amica and Allegro from Central and Eastern Europe were among the 215 buyers at Taiwan Week, generating $21.48 million US dollars in business opportunities. Taiwanese businesses received high levels of inquiry from buyers at Taiwan Week in Poland.
