Emerging Market Taiwan Flagship Trade Delegation to the Middle East A delegation of 10 companies, focusing on smart cities, transportation, and healthcare visited Saudi Arabia and Türkiye. The Taiwan Tech Day event was organized in Saudi Arabia, featuring quality products from Taiwan. Additionally, one-on-one procurement meetings with over 250 local buyers were held, generating business opportunities worth $106.6 million US dollars. TAITRA’s fifth office in the Middle East, the Taiwan Trade Center in Riyadh, held a grand opening ceremony and signed an MOU with the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, which has more than 260 thousand members. Over 150 guests and business leaders, including Deputy Minister Osama bin Abdul Aziz Al-Zamil from the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, attended the event. 16 The Taiwan Trade Center in Riyadh grandly opened, assisting Taiwanese businesses in seizing important opportunities in the Middle East.
