Food and Beverage Industries The stay-at-home economy is a fast- emerging sector of the global food and beverage industry. In 2020, TAITRA aimed to build an ecosystem for Taiwan franchise brands. The efforts included strengthening the connections between franchise brands and the related industries in areas such as raw materials, software and hardware, POS systems, and smart ordering and payment devices. A wide range of online events were held to promote Taiwan franchise brands. The events also introduced the latest trends of franchise industries in other countries. For example, the Asia-Pacific franchise summit brought the knowledge of international food and beverage industry trends. Webinars were also held to cover various key topics, including the digital transformation of the food and beverage industry, experiences sharing of international expansion, and cross- industry cooperation. In addition, TAITRA held online business matchmaking meetings that connected international distributors, agents, and Taiwan franchise brands. Taiwan Franchise Brands Live Webinar Online seminar enabled buyer meetings amid the pandemic. TAITRA assisted ICE YODO in the opening ceremony and promotion of a store in Singapore.  20
