Throughout the four-day event, TAITRA promoted mutual exchange and collaboration between Poland and Taiwan. The markets of Poland and its neighbors are brimming with potential business opportunities for Taiwan. Taiwan’s machinery industry is renowned for its high quality and competitive prices throughout the world. Therefore, we saw this event as an excellent platform for Taiwanese enterprises to display their innovative products and meet potential buyers and partners for possible business cooperation.

At the opening ceremony of the Taiwan Pavilion, our representative Bob L.J. Chen of the Taipei Representative Office in Poland, VIP Ms. Iwona Matuszczak-Szulc, Director of the City Development and Foreign Relations Department at Poznań City Hall, and Vice Chairman Filip Bittner of the PIF organization wished the Taiwan Pavilion great success and fruitful results. Seventy-nine potential buyers visited the Taiwan Pavilion and had trade meetings with Taiwanese companies. The estimated follow-up order amount within one year is 1.81 million US dollars (USD) . Five exhibitors who presented at the Taiwan Pavilion said that they would like to participate in this exhibition next year because business opportunities can be expected. Manufacturers were grateful for the opportunity to participate in the Taiwan Pavilion at this exhibition.

Furthermore, in 2021, Taiwan’s total value of imports from Poland amounted to USD 412 million, which shows a rise of 10.1% when compared to the same period in 2020. Export values reached USD 1,242 million, a 43.8% increase compared to the same period in 2020. These numbers demonstrate the highly active commercial interactions between Taiwan and Poland.
