IAEE Award
The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) issues the International Excellence Award to professionals with outstanding contributions in the global MICE industry. In 2021, the honor went to Simon Wang, the Executive Vice President of TAITRA. This is the second time that the award has gone to an Asian while Mr. Wang is the first Taiwanese to receive the honor.
Financial Assistance for MICE Industry
Ministry of Economic Affairs launched a program to provide financial assistance, including relief subsidies, for companies in the MICE industry. The purpose of the program was to ensure business operations of the companies and to maintain job security for employees.
