To raise the international reputation of Taiwan Machinery as well as enhance industries’ marketing skills, the Taiwan Smart Machinery Promotional Project was launched by TAITRA in 2018. In response to the international travel ban in 2020, innovative marketing strategies were implemented, including the production of 360-degree videos that enabled international buyers to virtually visit the smart factory facilities of Tongtai’s motorcycle engine parts production line and FATEK’s smart automatic aluminum wheel production line. The team also launched two promotional video campaigns showcasing Taiwan’s smart machinery industry. "The Next Generation and Victor Taichung, demonstrating Taiwan’s manufacturing strength and future. "Point-Line-Plane-Taiwan Smart Manufacturing Philosophy" presented the development of Taiwan’s machinery industry, which featured smart components, smart machines, smart production lines, and smart factories. Moreover, TAITRA arranged 8 online match-making sessions working, aerospace solutions, and melt-blown cloth production lines. 14 360-degree videos enabled international buyers to virtually tour Taiwan’s smart factory production lines. 360 Factory Tour(Machine Tools)
